Tips for Number Merging Games Like Merge Mania
In merging games you slide tiles across the board, and two tiles with the same number join into one with a bigger number. The board fills quickly, so a plan is important.
Pick a corner
Choose one corner for your biggest tile and do not move it away. Build your numbers in a line leading to it, from the largest down to the smallest.
Limit your directions
Use mostly two or three directions and avoid the one that would pull your big tile out of the corner. Random swiping fills the board with small, mixed tiles.
Think before you swipe
Look at which moves create a merge and which leave you with gaps. Keep the board tidy, and keep at least one row full of tiles in order. A slow, careful game usually scores higher than a fast one.
