Mahjong Solitaire: How to Play
Mahjong solitaire is not the four-player Mahjong game. It is a single-player puzzle in which you remove pairs of matching tiles from a stack until the board is empty.
Which tiles are free?
A tile can be picked only if nothing is on top of it and at least one of its left or right sides is open. Click two free tiles that match to remove them. Some tiles, such as flowers or seasons, can match others from the same group even if the pictures are different.
Tips
Focus on tiles that block many others, especially from tall stacks, before taking easy pairs at the edges. When several tiles of the same kind are free, think about which pair to take so you do not trap the others. If you get stuck, use the hint or shuffle if the game has one.
